Heidi Gillmore
Executive Vice President, Chief Business Development Officer
Heidi Gillmore is Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer at TerSera Therapeutics. Since joining the company in 2016, she has held a series of senior commercial and strategic leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Marketing and Senior Vice President, General Manager of the US Oncology Business Unit. She currently leads business development, M&A, competitive intelligence, and alliance management across TerSera’s portfolio.
Prior to TerSera, Heidi was Vice President of Rheumatology Marketing at Horizon Pharma following its acquisition of Crealta Pharmaceuticals, where she held a similar role. She previously spent a decade at Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA and TAP Pharmaceuticals in leadership positions spanning business development, marketing, and market access. Earlier in her career, she worked in business consulting at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Heidi holds an MBA in Economics and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Graduate Certificate in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Chicago, and a BA, magna cum laude, in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa.
Heidi serves on the board of the Illinois Biotechnology Innovation Organization (iBIO), the state trade association representing the life sciences industry in Illinois.
